Domaine Lafage, situated between Perpignan and the Spanish border in Côtes Catalanes, Roussillon, has been run by Jean-Marc and Eliane Lafage since 2001. The estate, with 7 generations and its two centuries of winemaking history dating back to 1798 prides itself on producing fine and elegant wines from the mosaic of vineyards in this dry, windy and rugged landscape. The 2024 Miraflors rosé is a blend of 30% Mourvèdre, 30% Grenache Noir and 40% Grenache Gris. Grown on terraced plots along the coast and aged in concrete, it is decidedly Provençal in style. 2024 Bandol Rosé, Domaine du Gros' Noré Dry | Rosé | Still | 13.5%

This rosé is one of the secret gems of our list. Pale, dry, and quintessentially Provençal at first, it opens up in the glass revealing layers of complexity that take it far beyond your average rosé. It has beautifully pithy grapefruit, orange blossom, and sweet red berry notes, with lovely sea-salty freshness on the palate. Unlike many simpler rosés, whose enjoyment lies exclusively in their fruitiness, this wine has the structure and depth to age with grace. Bandol is a small appellation, well-known for producing that rare beast: ageworthy and truly gastronomic rosés. Its neighbour Domaine Tempier put these rosés on the fine wine map. We firmly believe that Gros' Noré is every bit as thrilling, yet remains pleasingly under-the-radar. If you hold this wine for a couple of years, you'll discover just what this wine can do.

2024 Méditerranée Rosé, Figuière Dry | Rosé | Still | 12.5%

Bag-in-box wines might not have the most chic image, but this bucks the trend. It’s beautifully packaged, offers amazing value and has superb environmental credentials (it has a much lighter carbon footprint than glass and all the packaging is 100% recyclable). Moreover, the wine itself is delicious: a dry, delicate rosé, with a fruity and fresh red berry nose and a salty freshness on the palate. You could easily mistake this for a bona fide Côtes de Provence. The wine will stay fresh and vibrant for at least a month from first opening. Stick it in your fridge and you'll have chilled rosé on tap. In this format, it offers unbeatable value for money. Dimensions: 19x19x19cm

2024 4-6h Rosé, Gaia, Nemea, Greece Dry | Rosé | Still | 12.5%

One of the pioneers of the modern Greek wine revolution Gaia Estate was established in 1994 by Greek winemakers Leon Karatsalos and Yiannis Paraskevopoulos. An appetising and vivid rosé with an intense and aromatic profile, Agiorgitiko (a fragrant red wine grape native to Greece's Peloponnese Peninsula) wavers between delicate floral notes of rose petals and fruity flavours of pomegranate and strawberry. Vibrantly fresh with a deliciously refreshing finish, it is the perfect aperitif wine, but also paired with light summer dishes or Asian cuisine.
