2016 Olivier Leflaive Frères

2016 is a vintage best described as triumph over adversity. Frost damaged extensive areas of Burgundy, including key areas around Chassagne and Puligny, and Meursault. Nevertheless, we were hugely impressed with Olivier Leflaive’s wines. As ever, they show their terroir and the low yields have given them good concentration. However, with very low volumes produced there’s not much to go around. You’ll have to grab them while you can.
