This Rheinhessen property is based in the town of Westhofen. Philipp Wittmann has taken the estate to new levels, particularly after having converted to biodynamics in 2004.

Riesling is their main focus, with 75% of the production, producing varying sweetness levels. Precision is key and they vinify all their parcels separately, with their more premium wines benefitting from slightly longer lees contact.
