If you fancy giving it a go at home, you'd do worse than buy a good book.
Jancis Robinson’s Wine Tasting Workbook would be a great start as it will hold your hand, give you tips on what sort of wines to buy and the things to look out for once you have them home and opened in front of you. It’s informative but lightly written and great fun. Equally, you can give us a call at the office, tell us your plans and we’ll help put the wines together for you.
Local wine clubs are readily found online as are wine courses. The Wine & Spirits Educational Trust courses are amongst the very best and they lead to the Diploma and, ultimately, the Master of Wine if you get bitten that badly by the bug!
