Weingut Wagner-Stempel
Daniel and Catherine Wagner, the 9th generation at the helm here, have farmed organically for ten years now, across 24 hectares of vines. In 2017, they lost 50% of the crop, with tiny yields of just 25 hectolitres per hectare. With an intent focus solely on dry wines, they mostly grow Riesling but also have a few other local varieties, both white and black grapes. With just ten thousand cases produced each year, their production remains small, with quality soaring.
