A beautifully classic Barolo this year from the Bricco Boschis, showing some of the seriousness and focus of this great vintage. Iodine, violets and wild cherry lead on the nose, with supple grip of tannins framing the fruit. This has real direction and poise yet also beautiful and generous fresh aromatics.

A little spicier than the other Oddero wines on the nose, this leads with dried wild herbs, orange peel and fresh nectarine. There is power and intensity on the palate but there is tenderness and grace too. A really impressive wine from the Oddero range this year.

This was previously known as the Castiglione Barolo but from the 2021 vintage is renamed simply the Barolo from Vietti.
